Spurn is about as far as I'll go to see a bird. The Masked Shrike here was worth a quick visit - the bird showed exceptionally closely, but the light was utterly appauling. Sad to say the day was slightly marred by the rudeness of the landlady of the Crown and Anchor pub. Avoid spending any money in here if I were you!

I have to admit I really like this photo. It was taken on Brean Down in really poor light conditions. Most of the other images are a blurry mess! The Weasel does not seem in the slightest bit bothered by my presence - though the Wood Mouse may be a tad concerned by the presence of the Weasel!

We don't get that many Yellow-legged Gulls at Berrow, so it was nice to have one that was obvious! This one was on the beach. If you don't know which one of the above it is, then you may be a bit confused by a lot of stuff on this web site! It's the left one.

A bit like buses, I found two Wrynecks today. One at Brean Down and one at Berrow. The one at Berrow (above) showed quite well, but it was very flighty though it required a stealthy approach!
